Selling Process

The process of selling will begin with determining an asking price that represents top market value for your home or property. We will assist you with this by doing a comprehensive market analysis on comparable properties that have recently been sold in the area. Not only will we provide you with comparable homes that have sold but we will also provide you with comparable homes that are currently on the market. We want to sell your home or property at the best price and quickly.

After an asking price has been established we may advise you on repairs or cosmetic work that could be done to greatly enhance the overall appeal of your property. We will promptly put signs on your property advertising it for sale, for homes we will also put out a brochure box to hold additional information about your home for people to easily access. We will then list your home or property in the North East Georgia Multiple Listing Service. This allows for all the agents in North East Georgia to view and access information on your home or property. We will advertise your home in publications that include local newspapers, area real estate books and also out of town publications. Well over 50% of real estate sales are actually where another real estate agent other than the listing agent bring in the buyer. In this case, whenever another agent shows your home or property we will follow up with that agent and give your immediate feedback.

When we receive an offer from a prospective buyer we will evaluate the offer with you and help you be informed about the market when deciding to accept the offer instead counteroffer. After we help you write a legally binding agreement we will start scheduling appraisers, inspectors, etc. We will be with you every step of the selling process. From the day you consider selling your home until the day we go to closing.  You can depend on us to take care of your real estate transaction.
